Whitehall Township Disc Golf Course

Location: Whitehall Township - about 15 miles north of Muskegon. Take the Colby Rd / Whitehall exit off of US-31 and turn left (off of either ramp). Go about 1 mile east to Lorenson Rd. Turn right, park entrance is 1/4 mile down on the left (where the power line crosses the road).

League Play: None

Course Layouts: 18 holes with two tees; the long tees are clearly marked, short tees are still being developed, but were marked with red flags. The course is actually two loops of nine holes each - arranged in the "figure 8" layout - that start and end at the parking lot.

Water hazards on course: None.

Target Types: Innova Discatchers - new model with inner set of chains.

Tee Surface: Holes 1-10 have cement tees, the rest are natural (cement tees are planned for the future).

Tee Signs: Currently under construction - marked by  4x4 posts for the time being.

Description: Challenging course situated in a mix of trees - the first 3 holes are in a block of straight line pine trees, which can make these holes play like a pinball machine! There are blind holes, hill shots, left and right turns - a little something for everyone. The course was the first thing to be built in this township park which is still being developed.

Other park facilities: None yet; currently in the design phase.

Design Notes: Built in 2004. Designed by Michael Wildner - Yeti Tech

Wildman's Burrito Guide: The Wayside Bar & Grill in nearby Montague is the place for burritos. Wide variety & very filling. The Wayside is located on Business US-31 just east of the stoplight (by the weathervane) in Montague.
